No, nothing to worry about: to go rafting on the Cascate delle Marmore, you'll just need to swim well and be in good health, and of course, rely on a specialist centre that will make sure you're completely safe. An activity that should be shared between friends and families that's also suitable for children from 8/9 years of age in its soft version.

The Fiume Nera (Black River) travels rapidly for more than three kilometres in the midst of a wild and luxuriant environment that its tropical counterparts can't rival. The rapids that are formed along the pathway are classified in degrees of incline on a rising scale ranging from 1 to 6. The essential kit needed, i.e. equipment and suitable clothing, is provided by the Rafting Centre. There are six people on each raft, and leadership is assigned to a qualified member of the Italian Rafting Association, who will issue the orders and instructions to follow during the descent.
